EMDR Therapy - How it works

1. Identify and Target
We begin by working with you to identify the specific memories, emotions, or patterns that are holding you back. This step helps to focus the therapy on what matters most to you.

2. Process with Bilateral Stimulation
Through guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, we help you safely revisit and reprocess distressing experiences. This reduces their emotional intensity and allows for healthier perspectives to emerge.

3. Rewire and Rebuild
EMDR supports your brain in “unsticking” from trauma, rewiring how you perceive and respond to past experiences. This helps transform negative thought patterns into empowering beliefs.

4. Move Forward with Clarity
Once the processing phase is complete, we focus on equipping you with tools to maintain balance and build resilience. You’ll leave with practical strategies to navigate life with greater ease and confidence.

Tucked away in the peaceful village of Tamraght near Agadir, Riad Dar Haven blends traditional Moroccan charm with modern comfort. This beautifully restored riad offers uniquely designed rooms featuring local artisanal touches and all the amenities you need to feel at ease. Whether you’re unwinding in the tranquil courtyard, taking a dip in the pool, or enjoying Moroccan-inspired meals on the rooftop terrace with views of the Atlantic, this is a space to slow down, reset, and feel at home.
All rooms are full board, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and refreshments. While single rooms are available, we encourage participants to share as part of the retreat experience, building connections, sharing reflections, and creating a sense of community during your stay.
